An Update About COVID-19

We understand the concern and uncertainty you may be experiencing surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19). We are doing everything we can to be consistent with the CDC and public health recommendations and continue to provide you with the highest quality service you have come to expect from us.

Due to the dynamic situation of continued efforts to limit exposure to individuals with COVID 19, the state and federal government have begun to impose additional limitations to institutions including Ambulatory Surgery Centers such as Tradition Surgery Center. These changes are being made to limit potential COVID-19 exposure for our staff, patients and visitors and to conserve resources for those in need. Our primary concern is protecting the health and well-being of our employees, our patients and the community we serve.

For the foreseeable future, the Tradition Surgery Center will remain closed in an effort to reduce consumption of critical personal protection equipment that is needed in acute care hospitals and to be available to assist emergency needs such as the use of our ventilators.

During this period, if your surgeon deems your surgery urgent, we will contact you the day prior to surgery and ask critical screening questions of you and the person designated as your driver. If you answer yes to any of the screening questions, we will reschedule your procedure.

It is important for all of us to stay on top of the latest information coming from state and federal experts and we encourage you to monitor the CDC for the latest Coronavirus updates. Most importantly, we want you and your families to be safe and stay healthy.
